Alabama Boy is fiction based upon historical fact. It's the story of a dirt-poor farm boy who enlists in the Army to support his family. He ends up making the military his career, and serves in both WWII and the Korean Conflict with distinction. Author T. Wayne Babb was born in Ft. Payne, Alabama, but spent much of his childhood in Chattanooga, Tennessee, an area steeped in Civil War history. He had a 30-year Air Force career where he functioned as an Intelligence Analyst. During his career, Babb served in Japan, Italy, Thailand, Greece, Korea, Alabama, and Texas. Upon retirement, he became an author. Also by T.
